Who we are

What we collect

• Your name, phone number, email address and postcode when you request a call or an estimate.
• Photos of your property that you upload for a photo estimate, and the answers you give about it.
• Notes from calls, surveys and quotes if you go ahead.
• Basic technical information needed to run the site and stop abuse, such as your IP address and a bot-check token from Cloudflare Turnstile.

Why we use it

To call you back, produce an estimate and quote, book a survey, fit the work and issue your guarantee and FENSA certificate. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, then performing that contract. We do not sell your details. We only share them with Meta for advert measurement if you accept cookies, as explained under Cookies below.

Visitor logs

When you visit this site we log your IP address, your device and browser details (from the information your browser sends), the approximate location your IP address suggests, the pages you visit, the page that referred you and any advert campaign tags in the link. We do this to protect the site and our forms against fraud and spam, and to measure our advertising. This is in our legitimate interests. The log is kept for 90 days, unless you send us an enquiry and become a customer, in which case it is kept with your customer record.

Photo estimates

Photos are analysed by an AI service to count and classify windows and doors. The photos are sent to that provider for analysis only and are not used to train its models. Prices are calculated by us from our own price book.

Who sees it

Our office and fitting team, and the suppliers we need to deliver your job: the window manufacturer (measurements only), FENSA for registration, and the guarantee insurer. Our systems run on Cloudflare, with data stored in the UK and EU where available.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted after 12 months. Photos from estimates are deleted after 90 days unless you become a customer. Customer records are kept for the life of the guarantee plus one year.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within a month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie to protect the forms. Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not a cookie.

We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook) to measure how well our adverts work, but only if you accept cookies in the banner. Until you accept, the Pixel is not loaded and nothing is sent to Meta. If you accept, Meta sets its cookies and we tell Meta when you request a call, start or send a photo estimate, book a survey or accept a quote. With those events we send your email address, phone number, name and postcode, scrambled (hashed) first so Meta can only match them to an account it already holds, along with your IP address and browser details. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
