Fold the whole back wall away

  • Two to seven leaves folding back on a stainless steel track.
  • A traffic door for everyday use, so the whole run only opens when the weather is good.
  • Flush thresholds for level access to the garden.
  • Aluminium is the sensible choice for spans over three metres. See bifold doors

Sliding sash

Sliding sash windows

Spring-balanced sashes with run-through horns and deep bottom rails, built to the sightlines conservation officers look for.

Composite front doors

A front door that shuts like it means it

A solid timber-core slab with a GRP skin. The door that keeps its colour, does not warp and shuts with a satisfying thud.

Installation

Fitted by the people who measured

Employed by us, never subcontracted. Dust sheets down, old frames out and recycled, every installation registered with FENSA.

About B&E

Every window and door we fit

uPVC where it makes sense, aluminium where spans and sightlines matter, composite for front doors that stay true. All made to measure.

From a photo to a fitted frame

Four steps and no sales visit. You see a price before anyone comes to the house.

Start with photos
  1. Step 1: Send a few photos

Answer four quick questions and upload photos of your windows or doors straight from your phone. It takes about three minutes.

  2. Step 2: Get your estimated range

We count and classify each opening from the photos and price it from our current price book. You see a low and high figure with a breakdown.

  3. Step 3: Free survey, fixed price

A surveyor measures up at a time that suits you. You get a written fixed quote by email, valid for 30 days, with no obligation.

  4. Step 4: Fitted and guaranteed

Our own fitters install, clear away the old frames and register the work with FENSA. Your 10-year insurance-backed guarantee follows.

Common questions

Something else? Ring 01494 000 000 or ask for a call back.

How accurate is the photo estimate?

It is a genuine range worked out from your photos and our current price book, not a marketing number. Most fixed quotes land inside the range. Your price is only fixed after a free survey, when we measure every opening and check the brickwork and lintels.

What do the photos need to show?

Stand back far enough to get the whole window or door in frame, in daylight if you can. One photo per elevation is ideal; close-ups of anything unusual help too. Phone photos are perfect.

Is the survey really free, and is there any pressure?

Yes, and no. A surveyor measures up, talks through options and leaves. The written quote follows by email, usually within two working days, and is valid for 30 days.

How long from order to fitting?

Typically four to six weeks for uPVC and six to eight for aluminium or made-to-measure composite doors. We confirm the fitting date when the frames arrive.

Are you FENSA registered?

Yes. Every replacement window and door is registered with FENSA and you receive the certificate for your records and for when you sell.

What does the guarantee cover?

Frames, glass units, hardware and our workmanship for ten years, backed by an independent insurance policy so it stands even if we were not around.

Do you take away the old windows?

Yes. Old frames and glass are removed and recycled, and the rubble from a bay rebuild goes in our van, not your bin.
